I went to the Biennial at the Whitney yesterday and it was AMAZING! You should go during the break, but be sure to get tickets online because the line was down the street (however I did go on a Saturday so during the week should be a little better). There were many rooms set up with painting, photography and videos. I saw so many creative ways to display my work, which is exactly what we need to be looking at for our show.
I highly suggest you all go.
