The Business of Business...

So I'm in the midst of shooting some new still-life stuff but haven't edited through anything so I am not putting that up quite yet...but very soon so wait with baited breath.
What I have been working on lately though is the idea of having a logo, which I think i have settled on, and creating a few examples of a series of business cards. Ideally the new stuff I'm shooting will be the images on the cards so keep that in mind...but essentially I think I like the concept.
I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys, likes, dislikes, things you think I should try changing, or even places you know that do good printing, etc...

Hey, I like really like the layout. Its really clean and professional... I think the best is definitely the top one.

The design makes sense to use with the still life which have a very commercial feel, but I don't think you should use it with your "portraits".

Also the two "portrait?" photos are way too similar to have seperate cards.

And I also don't think you should this layout with any horizonals. I think you just need to work out another design (in a similar fashion) for any landscape images.

Last, I don't know if the (h) works... I have mixed feelings about it - when I first saw it I was like wow thats really great... but then shortly after it felt like a - hilton hotel - or some sort of real estate company.

I hope this helps and doesn't come off as captious...

captious? good diction evan!
As for the cards...am i clear on this...is this a front & back, or a one-sided card? If it's front & back, i think it's an interesting choice to use a vertical layout. I agree that the h looks pretty branded/commercial (reminds me of history channel)...i think it looks quite nice, but definitely gives off a very traditional feel.
Also, i love that green.

Hey Hillary,
I like how the face color matches with the accompanying photograph, but is the photograph going to be on one side, while the print on the opposite side? If so then the effect as you have the cards laid out now on screen might not be the same as when it's actually printed... is this making sense? Anywho, it would be a good idea to just do a mock print, and see what a two sided card would look like and such.

Also, the "H" looks nice, but I think Gabriel had the same logo...
