This is a blog for the senior photography students at FIT, specifically through the class PH-461, the multimedia portfolio. This "space" acts as a forum for collecting ideas about photography, art and technology, as well as being a sounding board for testing out response to new work.

SVA mentor show
Here's some images from the SVA mentor show we talked about in class today. here's the info:
April 11 - 26, 2008 Visual Arts Gallery 601 West 26 Street, 15th floor
WOW, I love all the different presentation methods and how the show works really well together despite the variety. The garden in the middle reminds me of Irina's tent idea. If positioned and lit properly I think it could really add something interesting to the space by breaking up the monotony of just having images on the wall. Now I'm just curious if anyone is framing their work or is everyone mounting onto foamcore?
